The Vitae programme
Vitae is committed to enhancing the quality and output of the research base in the United Kingdom, through supporting the training and development of the next generation of world-class researchers.
Our aims
To achieve our vision we have four main aims, which are to:
- champion the development and implementation of effective policy
- enhance higher education provision through sharing practice and resources
- provide access to development opportunities and resources
- build an evidence base to support the researcher development agenda.
Regional hub
Vitae has a network of regional hubs which support the region's Higher Education Institutions. The University of Leeds is pleased to host the Yorkshire and North East Hub. The Hub is based in the Graduate Training and Support Centre in the Parkinson Building at the University of Leeds.
