ULTA 1

A 20 credit M-level programme which provides an introduction to teaching methods for postgraduates, research staff and other part time teachers whose teaching role is limited. (suitable for: staff new to teaching)

A 40 credit M-level programme which provides a systematic induction into the processes of teaching and managing student learning and is designed for staff on the Teaching & Research and Teaching & Scholarship Career Pathways with a full range of teaching responsibilities.  (suitable for: staff new to teaching)

Designed for staff with appropriate experience of teaching in higher education who wish to gain a University qualification that recognises their quality and competency as teachers in higher education but who also want to claim advanced standing for existing, appropriate qualifications/credits.

PGDLTHE - Postgraduate Diploma in Learning & Teaching

Designed for more experienced staff who wish to develop and research their practice.

MA - Master of Education

Candidates who successfully complete a Postgraduate Certificate or Postgraduate Diploma will be eligible for advanced standing towards the general MA programme offered by the School of Education.
