- An induction programme for staff who are relatively new to, or about to take up, a senior leadership role such as Head of School/ Institute/Service/Research Centre, Pro-Dean, Graduate School Director, Faculty/ Service Management Team member. - An update in HR Issues for all senior leadership role holders, on 27 January 2012,
09.15-13.00. - A leadership development programme for all senior leadership role holders (Head of School/Institute/Service/Research Centre, Pro-Dean, Graduate School Director, Faculty/Service Management Team member). This flexible and individually-tailored programme comprises a mix of psychometric and 360 degree profiling using the Myers Briggs Type Inventory (MBTI) and the University Leadership and Management Standard, mentoring, action learning, personal development planning, and optional workshops – details on pages 3-5 below. Any senior leader who has not already participated in this programme is strongly encouraged to do so. Anyone who has participated in the past but would like to take a specific element of the programme again – e.g. join an action learning set, re-do a 360 degree profile, attend a workshop etc – will be very welcome.
