The Forum aims to be an informal network that regularly brings together DSEs from across campus to:

  1. create a DSE community
  2. share experiences
  3. discuss topical issues
  4. disseminate good practice.

Curriculum Enhancement Project - 30 June, 2011

The Curriculum Enhancement Project has reached an important stage as consultations are planned / taking place on several aspects.  This was a chance to have you say and help define the future shape of the curriculum at Leeds.

The Forum:

  • provided an overview on where the project is so far and look ahead to activities for 2011/12
  • invited comments on the current proposals to change the structure of the academic year
  • took feedback on the thinking about curriculum mapping for Research led Teaching
  • shared the outcomes of the consultation on broadening and provide an opportunity for discussion on the emerging broadening strands.

Curriculum Enhancement Project - 24 March, 2011

What was covered in this session: 

  • bring participants up to speed with the latest developments on the project; what’s been agreed and what’s coming up for further consultation
  • inform about the principles and drivers for any changes to the structure of the academic year and invite participants to think about what a new structure might look like
  • share more developed models for broadening the curriculum and get the participants' views on how these might work within and beyond their discipline

You may know the HE Academy because you are Fellow of the Academy, or you use a Subject Centre or you know about the National Teaching Fellowship scheme (NTF) that they administer, or have used one of their range of useful resources / been on one of their events.
