Departmental Development
Who can I speak to?
To contact the appropriate member of SDDU staff to discuss your Departmental Development needs: Faculty Service Links
Much of SDDU’s work is with individual departments. This includes:
-
organising, co-ordinating or facilitating departmental study or ‘away’ days - eg to assist the strategic planning process;
-
providing courses tailored to the needs of particular departments - eg to help departments to prepare for or to meet needs arising from subject review visits;
-
SDDU can offer bespoke workshops for groups of staff in departments or for whole departments - examples of our most popular workshops are "Teambuilding", "Offering a Quality Service", "Communication Skills", "Supervisory Skills" and " Using Online Tools to Detect Plagiarism".
